What is Vibra Nova's mission?

A deeptech start-up to revolutionise haptics

The company currently holds 19 families of patents, initially intended for the automotive sector. Its technology is based on ultrasonic vibrations applied under a screen surface using piezoelectric actuators to create a vibrating touch panel. These vibrations are confined to ensure a uniform intensity and are coupled to a capacitive sensor that detects the position of the finger, generating precise and realistic haptic feedback. In addition, an ultrasonic force sensor evaluates the pressure exerted on the interface, further enhancing the tactile experience.

Patented tactile technology

The technologies developed by VIBRA NOVA have reached technological maturity levels (TRL) of between 5 and 8, ranging from component validation to demonstration in an operational environment. Notable advances include the creation of haptic feedback for OLED screens, the precise localisation of haptic effects, the integration of its technology into LCD screens for the automotive industry and the development of mechanical haptic buttons without an integrated mechanism. These innovations pave the way for numerous industrial and commercial applications.
